The sixth and last Blogtask is about creating a “dream teaching project”. There are no restrictions concerning financial or equipment issues. Continue reading Sixth Blogtask The plans for my stay in the UK are getting more and more concrete. Continue reading progress As the second part of the fifth blogtask I interviewed my brother, who is 20 years old and who attends the Kaufmännsche Schule Marburg. Continue reading Fifth Blogtask, Part 2 The first part of the fifth blogtask was to find two questions which we are supposed to ask the teacher we will meet on the field trip that the course will do next wednesday. Continue reading Fifth Blogtask, Part 1 Find (online or in a magazine) a report about a teaching project which makes use of the New Media that you really liked and that you think was a success. Explain it to your readers.
The blogtask I chose is found on the page of “lehrer-online” . There I discovered a teaching project on Australia, which was very impressive. The topic Australia can be found in the curriculum of Baden - Württemberg for the 9th grade. Four lessons are required for the project, one lesson should ideally be a block period. The lessons are designed for grade 9 or 10. Continue reading Fourth Blogtask In the last session of “New Media in Foreign Language Education” we received the task to analyze two different learning programmes by using an evaluation sheet. Continue reading Third Blogtask Now that August is approaching I started to look for accomodation. Until now I havn`t found anything that is close enough to my working place and affordable but I think it should be no problem to find a flat or an appartement in due time. Continue reading Preparation In this post I am commenting on the poster on task 8 created by Group 1. The group members had to present in how far the internet influences multicultural and cooperative learning. Continue reading Second Blogtask The use of new media offers new perspectives to language teaching. It does not only give more flexibility to the teachers (creating their lessons, sharing contents with teachers from all over the world) but also to the students, who have the ability to access their learning platforms whenever they want to. Teachers can have a look at when a student has been working at home or what he has done in class, so that he can evaluate the participation of a single student more precisely. Continue reading Why New Media in Foreign Language Education This category is especially designed for the course “New Media in Foreign Language Education” which I take on Tuesday mornings 08:00 - 10:00h. The course is part of my studies at the Philipps-University in Marburg /Lahn. Here I will keep records of the learning processes that are concerned with new media in teaching. All the tasks that are given to the course will be posted here as well. |
